Montana MILE: Montanans for Immigration Law Enforcement
-
Mexican street gang members arrested in Bozeman, West Yellowstone, by Jodi Hausen, Bozeman Daily Chronicle, July 3, 2010
Although the article doesn't emphasize it, illegal immigration is a major part of this tale. Nine of the ten Mexican-born arrestees are to be deported forthwith by Immigration and Customs Enforcement [ICE], while the tenth will be in federal court for repeated instances of illegal immigration. In fact, for those arrested in Gallatin County, "illegal reentry is the only criminal charge pending" (at least so far). Note that anyone charged with "illegal reentry" has previously been deported.
